Summary

In parent mode, CryDetector analyzes crying audio on your iPhone. Audio is processed in memory and is not uploaded to our servers. We built the app so your baby's voice stays on your device.

Parent mode (default)

• Microphone access is used only while you actively run a detection.
• Audio is not stored on our servers and is not transmitted for cloud analysis.
• Detection history is stored locally on your device.
• No account is required for basic use.

Professional mode (optional, future)

If you choose to participate as a healthcare or childcare professional, labeled audio may be uploaded only with explicit consent for each session. That data is used to improve the model and is handled under a separate retention policy described in the app before upload.

This website

This marketing site is static. We do not collect audio here. Standard web hosting providers (such as Vercel) may log request metadata (IP address, browser type) as part of normal operation.

Children's privacy

CryDetector is used by parents and caregivers. Baby crying audio may qualify as personal information. We minimize collection, keep parent-mode processing on-device, and require explicit consent before any professional upload.
